Aiden-a-Saurus . . .

These pictures are being posted in order of being taken.

It tells a pretty funny story of Aiden over a 10 minute play period!!

Where the Wild Things Are. . .

Anytime we go to the farm, Aiden loves to gather the eggs at GG's house . . .

The hen house. . .

The chicken coop . . .

Rhode Island Red's . . .

. . .that's the breed of hen, but not a bad name for a diner!

Rhode Island Red's

Laying eggs, as we speak.

Not golden or cadbury.

Just good ol' brown eggs.

Watch your fingers buddy!

They bite!

Hen Party.

GG also has a greenhouse that feels like a tropical paradise!

And it looks like one too with beautiful summer plants in bloom!

Garden Boy is at the ready.

He quits pretty quickly. Then again, he is only two!

Lots of new seeds for the summer vegetable garden!

I will be trying my hand at gardening again this summer despite my 3 failed attempts last year! Dog proofing will be of the utmost importance this year!

The Furry Cast of Characters:

Buster:

He is the resident varmint cruncher at Tamaha ranch.
Part husky?? Part who knows, but a capital G Great watch dog!

Rozzie:

The newest member of this outfit!
She snores and stinks but she tries real hard!

Penny:

Penny is the looker of the bunch, weighing in with the softest fur known to man.
She loves running beside the tractor and always looks like she is just about to do something.

Not Pictured:

Tucker and Lexy

Lexy was too tired to make the photo op and Tucker couldn't take his gaze away from his DeeDee long enough for a pic.

We're On Our Way To Grandpa's Farm...

This weekend, we headed towards gravel roads and no cell phone service.

We spent the weekend at Mimi and Pappy's Farm!!

Aiden loves to be outside and it has finally been warm enough for us to go to Tamaha, Oklahoma to help get some things done around the farm (a.k.a. trim trees)!

Aiden in the morning trying on Pappy's work boots . . .

some BIG shoes to fill . . .

just lookin cute . . .

I was originally behind the wheel of the mule until Aiden kept pushing me out of the seat saying that it was "Pappy's turn".

Thank you son. . . momma will remember that!

A view of the vineyard, still dormant from winter.

I have a feeling in a week or two, it will be a completely different story.

Let the pruning begin!

An old barn.

I love old barns.

So much history and hard work.

Ride #125365654 in the tractor.

Do Not Try This At Home! ! ! !

It was time to give what we so lovingly refer to as "the UGLY tree" a haircut!

And man was it needed!

Aiden's tractor looks very similar to the real deal!

However, if the real deal is out and moving, you can forget about his!

He wants in the big one!

We gave Aiden a little break to ride around the yard.

Very determined.

View from the ridge looking over the pasture.

For all the city folk, that is the view from the "hill" looking over the "field where animals are kept/ hay is baled".

This Little Piggy...

I absolutely love my son's toes!

There are many traits about him that favor us both and some that are more me . . .

but those piggies are completely his daddies . . .

they are still so soft, and chubby.

They are one of the body parts that is still more baby than big boy.

Just thought I'd let everyone share in the glories that are Aiden's toes.

No piggies were harmed in the taking of this photograph.

Fwimmin . . . or swimming

I enrolled Aiden in a swim class this year. He really loves the water and is very brave so me and D thought he should probably be in a class that teaches him the right way to swim/ rescue float/ everything that I don't know to teach him about water safety.

Aiden is one of those kids that isn't afraid of anything. That is a total blessing, and a total worry in situations like this!

Aiden made instant friends with every adult in the orientation room asking them if they were "teaching him to fwim."

He also liked that other kids were there since he is VERY friendly. This kid does not know the meaning of personal space.

I didn't want to seem to crazy at the first lesson so I didn't take our nice camera. I just took the little one so the pics are a little blurry!

I also told D that this was one of those fun things that he and his son could do together since I already get him all to myself one day a week, they can really use this time to bond.

AKA: I don't really want to have to get in a bathing suit quite yet, so enjoy!

More pics to come!!

Seriously Random...

As I was cleaning off my old camera, I found some pictures from Christmas on there! Hence, the moose sweater and heavy coats.

But they are still some cute pictures of Aiden and of my cousins Jake and Jack and Dylan and Brooke and Payne and Sam.

All of the kiddos that were at the Reavis family Christmas.

The Fair . . .

Really?? The FAIR ????

He was absolutely in love with the horsey ride at the fair. We had to just keep slippin the man money under the rope so Aiden could continue his riding.

This could looked like a NATURAL. He had the swagger down and everything!! You would think he had been on a horse since he was little!

Don't look at the drool/drink/whatever on his shirt . . .

he bathes, I promise . . .
