Three Weeks Today!!!

Today Aiden is THREE WEEKS old!!! I can't believe he has been here for that long! He is such a beautiful boy!! He has changed so much since we brought him home from the hospital! He has the sweetest little face but is definitely all boy!! There is nothing dainty about him! Even when he cries, it's not your typical cry, he sounds more like a dinosaur! All of his hand movements seem to be in slow motion still but Dillon and I can tell that he knows our faces now, not just our voices anymore! He gets more handsome everyday!!

All I Want For Christmas

Is Aiden in a stocking!! I pulled a Lindsay on the background!

Rub A Dub Dub

Aiden's First Bath!!! He looks kinda freaked out right now, little does he know he will thoroughly enjoy bath time!

This was taken after the bath was over and he realized that it can be cold! He looked so cute in his little hoodie towel! It makes him look like a cow!

Aiden turns his head to the side and finds his thumb or fingers to enjoy during his bath! He is usually a very content bather!

What a sad boy!!!

One Week

Aiden is ONE WEEK old! I can't believe how blessed we are to have a healthy, beautiful son! After Aiden's first doctors appointment, we took him up to the office to see my Grandma and Grandpa! They were excited to see him and give him the cutest stuffed bear and a book!
Dad got in on the action too! Here they are together in their first picture! I am sure there will be many to follow!

My little angel!!!

This picture is really unflattering of me but probably the closest thing I have to show everyone a little glimpse of our lives right now... EXHAUSTING!! But I wouldn't change a second of it!

Here we are on his one week birthday!! His shirt says "Nuts About Mommy" which is turning out to be entirely true!

On our way to the hospital on Tuesday night!!! Last night as a twosome!!

Getting ready for the main event!!

Heavy Sigh.....

So, baby Aiden's expected date of arrival has come and sadly gone!!! November 28th will not be Aiden's birthday, and it probably will not be his birthday until December! But that is okay because good things come to those who wait! I will post pics as soon as he gets here, whenever that may be!

Last Minute Room Update!

As the days tick away, we thought we were almost finished with the baby's room but we still had a few finishing touches left! My mom came over and helped pick out some pictures for his room and a new floor lamp. I finally got Mr. Moose a frame to finish him off, and we got the picture frame from Mary hung! A little rearranging of furniture and some new pictures made a huge difference! I absolutely love Aiden's room! It looks exactly like I dreamed it would! As usual I will give the disclaimer that I always do, and its still true, that you don't get the full effect until you see it in person! If you look at the earlier pics you can tell that there is no comparison!

Fa La La La Follies!!!

It is that time of year again! All the greek freshman have poured their blood, sweat and tears into hours and hours of turns, formations, stunts, choreography and 3 part harmonies! FRESHMAN FOLLIES!! I was thrilled when Brett carrid on the tradition and helped the Reavis family go 3 for 3 in Follies participation! He has worked so hard since the beginning of the semester and we finally went to see his show Thursday, November 6th, in the Student Union Little Theater! The Fiji's paired up with the Theta's and put on a quite a show! The theme this year is "Step Inside..." and they were puppets being terrorized by the horribly mean puppet master! It was so good!! I never knew Brett was a hip hop dancer! We couldn't take any pictures inside the theater or anything like that, however, we did buy a video that should be delivered in 6 weeks! We did sneak a quick visit with Brett after the show but only had time for a few pictures!

A Shower to Remember...

This weekend was fantastic! I had the grand finale of showers at my granny's in Stigler! Her cabin was decorated and looked so cute! My Aunt Peggy and Cindy helped make the food, so as usual it was to die for. I know I ate my fair share of ham salad sandwiches and pumpkin soup! Mmm mmm! Lots of people from my family were able to come and Aiden got a ton of cute, and desperately needed baby items! I was so glad Kristin was able to step in to the ever important "gift writer downer" position! It was great to see all of the family come together for the afternoon.

A Sea of Orange...

A few weeks ago, the family headed up to Stillwater to take part in the annual Homecoming festivities! Walk-arounds were so much fun! There was literally a sea of people! I was surrounded by people and being 5'2" makes that a little freaky! My brother Brett is a FIJI at OSU this year and they teamed up with the super cute girls from Kappa Kappa Gamma for homecoming!! The greek houses were all decked out and I managed to take a whopping 2 pictures of Brett's house, and not very good ones at that! The theme for homecoming this year was "Generations..." and Fiji/KKG chose the 80's!!! I thought it was so cute and they had the BEST music hands down!! It was a monster 80's mix with everything from New Kids on the Block to Michael Jackson!! The next day we headed back to Ok State for the game and had a little mini tailgate!

Little By Little...

Piece by piece Aiden's room is coming together! After a room switch and weekend paint job, he has a room big enough for his furniture and toys! His dresser is in and looks so cute with his bedding. Coincidentally, his bedding collection is named "Aiden" too! How fitting! It looks a little 'circus-y' because of the flash but in real life the colors are deeper. A few more finishing touches and his nursery will be complete... except for him!

Can anyone point out the "Touch of Terry"?

Poor Aiden has bare walls! Hopefully not for long!

It's All Happening!!

The countdown is on! We finally got the crib that I was anxiously awaiting! Dillon, the master carpenter, has done a fantastic job of setting up all of the baby gear! Seeing the crib together is a huge dose of reality... Not much longer til Aiden is here! I cannot wait to see his little face!
