Aiden, meet Kloie...

Last weekend, we went to Aiden's cousin's house! It was Kanen's 3rd birthday party! He was so cute! He got all kinds of transformers toys, and a transformers costume! He put it on and came out of his room saying "I am Bumble Bee" in a really tough voice! Hilarious! Aiden also got to meet cousin Kloie! She is a month younger than him but just as adorable! Aunt Ruby was letting them hold hands! They were fascinated with each other.

Kloie pulled a quarter out from behind Aiden's ear! (just kidding but thats what it looks like!)

We had a great time just relaxing at Brian and Linda's house!

Butternut Squash Surprise...

Okay, this is the face Aiden made during his first time eating big boy food! Utterly disgusted! Now he loves it!

What a big boy leaning in for a nibble of food!

Aiden likes to lean really far forward like he is about to take a MONSTER bite, and then he delicately sips a little food off the spoon.

Who me? No! I don't have anything on my face!

Hi mommy! Look (or actually don't) at my pile of recyclables in the background! I made Dillon start recycling. He just laughs and shakes his head when I tell him our carbon footprint is too big! (Nerdy, I know)

Yet again, in my biased opinion, that face is PRECIOUS! He has the softest most squeezable cheeks! Yum yum!

Six Month Stats...

Aiden went for his shots and six month check up! He was SUCH a good boy, as always! He did so well during his shots he got to try a little grape dum dum sucker! He loved each of the three licks I let him have! Dr. Raley said we could start feeding him baby food and certain things that we are eating. What a big boy! Here are his stats for the sixth month:

Height: 27.3 inches

Weight: 17.7 lbs

Head Circumference: 44.9 cm

Aiden is moving around a lot. He loves to talk and babble, he does it all day. He REALLY loves his jumper, he could sit in it all day if we let him and he literally doesn't stop jumping once. I think I have bald patches from where he grabs on to my hair every time I hold him. He loves his baths and is starting to sleep through the night! Yay!

Big Boy Walking...

Here he is! Our baby is loving when we help him walk! He might skip the whole crawling phase! He has started to get the army crawl down, and he gets up on all fours like he is gonna go somewhere and then he goes back on his tummy! He is saying "Look at me daddy!"

He is done with pictures! He is such a cutie!

Saturday Cartoons...

Aiden loves to watch cartoons! Any animated shows he has started to notice. Luckily he isn't hooked on one thing yet and hopefully we can keep it that way!

Techno Savvy...

Aiden is now a technological whiz kid! He loves anything with buttons, or makes noise. He loves the remotes, our phones, and Dillon's laptop!

Here he is! It looks like he really knows what he is doing. He is typing a paper or something.

Now that our baby is self sufficient (sniff..) we get to use his really really cute ducky bathtub from Uncle Nate and Aunt Abbey!! He loves it! He takes full advantage of all the new room he has to move around and dunk his washcloth!

He kept looking at his daddy every time I went to take a picture!

Ta Da..

Look who can sit up! We have been doing the "let Aiden sit up while resting between our legs" trick for a while now, and...Victorious! He can sit up all by himself! He has suddenly become fascinated by playing with burp clothes. I don't get it either!

Will someone please look at that adorable face! I know I am partial but how stinkin cute is my little boy!

He was so proud of himself he didn't even want to stop while he spit up all over himself! He just kept on cheesing which is rare, normally he sees the camera and turns the other way!

Six Months!!!

Check out this precious boy! He is growing so fast! We are so proud of our handsome boy! It seems like yesterday he arrived, and has filled our lives with joy every day since!

Back Story... Dillon was holding Aiden, sitting at my parents breakfast bar, and Aiden all of the sudden had a death grip on the faucet and wouldn't let go! He was pulling himself like he was climbing a rope! Hilarious!!
