Two Months Down...

Aiden had his 8 week check up on Friday. He is turning into such a big boy already! (sniff..sniff..)
Weight: 12lbs 2oz
Height: 23 1/2 inches
Head: Big (don't have measurement in front of me)
He is starting to smile a lot more frequently and is gaining more control of his head when we hold him upright. He likes us to hold him so he can stand up on our laps. He has very strong thighs. He loves the Wonder Pets! (this is sewious) on Nick Jr. and most importantly, he is a very happy boy! We can tell he will be ticklish and wants to laugh, it's right on the tip of his tongue, but he doesn't know how to get it out! He tells us stories every morning when he coos and plays and we can't wait to hear what they are. He still isn't sleeping through the night but that is okay! It gives us one more chance to see his little face in the middle of the night, and hear his little sounds as he drinks his ba-ba. He started to go to Miss Debbie's this week and is also staying with my mom during the week while we are at work! Mom gave him a gold star for his first day! Two weeks ago it probably would have been a lump of coal! Anyway, I have rambled on long enough about how much he is adored!

Shock and Awe...

I don't know why but the pictures where Aiden looks absolutely horrified crack me up! You would never think this child adores his bath time every night! Its like the boogey man is a photographer! Or maybe he just doesn't like having his picture taken!

One Eyein' It...

Our precious boy Aiden is growing so quickly! I love holding his sweet, warm little body when I rock him to sleep! Just about the moment I think he has FINALLY drifted off, this is what I see looking back at me. The one eye slit! It's like he is making sure i haven't gone anywhere. It is so cute to see!

Have you ever seen anything so handsome? His lips are shiny because he still has a little milk on them. I treasure every time I see this little face because I know it won't be this little for long!

I think it looks like he knows that I know he is sneakin a peek and is trying to keep a straight face!

Now, lady, I told you not to put me down til I was asleep!!!

A Little Motivation...

All I had to do was say that Dillon never took pictures and voila! I had a few to share with everyone! I absolutely love the first one! Me and Aiden were talking about what a cute boy he was and Dillon actually got a shot of it!

Here are some of us playing! He really loves laying on his back and looking all around!

A Little Help Never Hurts...

Aiden has gotten on a kick where he is still too little to hold his bottle, but he holds our fingers and helps us hold his bottle! He's got to make sure we hold it just right.

Don't you just love those little baby bellies! It looks like an old man's pot belly! (plus a diaper)
And just to clarify... Dillon is not the only one that holds/feeds/bathes our child. I am just the only one that takes pictures. Therefore, I am rarely in any of them! (a little unfair)
We just had pictures of Aiden taken to show everyone what a big boy he is at one month! I will post those soon!

Big Hat...

These are just random funny pictures of Aiden wearing his daddy's hat! He doesn't know what to do! His face was hilarious!

Enough said...

The other night as I was getting Aiden ready for his bath, this is what walked in the kitchen! I thought it was so cute! We will never get another shot like this!

Cuddle Bug? Nope! Wiggle Worm!!!

Whenever we try to rock Aiden, he always does what we call the "wiggle worm" where he wiggles his little body until he gets in just the right postion. It is never a cradled or swaddled position like normal, he is all sprawled out halfway down our bodies with his head practically falling off (but it isn't, I promise). Here are a few shots of that even though you still can't get the full effect.

This one makes me laugh! In a tv show one time it said if you hold your pinky out when you drink something it makes it 'fancier'! We catch Aiden doing this sometimes! He makes that bottle look classy huh!

How Time Flies...

Aiden is One Month Old! I can't believe that much time has passed. He has outgrown most of his newborn sized clothes and is already almost too long for 0-3 month! We might have a big child on our hands! Here are just a few pictures taken from the
week of how much our baby boy has grown (and how precious his little body is!)
