Happy Mother's Day...

Sometimes when I need a little extra sleep, I will wake up and get Aiden out of his crib and put him in bed with me! Most of the time he plays while i pretend I am getting more sleep, but for Mother's Day, he lovingly went back to sleep so I could catch a few more Z's. And Dillon lovingly took pictures of it! He said it was the only time he has ever seen me only take up only the very edge of the bed. We have an inside joke that for how short I am, I take up the King sized bed. But not this morning! There was precious cargo next to me!!

We are both SACKED OUT!

Notice the bottle next to the bed and the plethora of toys in the bed! I was hopeful, yet realistic about the more sleep thing.

West Coast Beauty...

Okay, so I know this was over a month ago, but I am way behind on my posts! My beautiful niece and her beautiful Mommy (my sister Lindsay) came in to town!! Look how adorable she is!! We had a great time and went to Stigler to visit great grand parents!

Topsy Turvy...

Look at this TURKEY! He is such a trickster! As happy as I am that he can turn over on his own, now it seems like his favorite thing to do is wedge himself in a precarious position and scream for me to come get him! I go in there and this is what i find! Somehow he has managed to parallel park himself in his crib! I wish I had a camera so I could have played back the moves it took to get into this position!

My Doodle Doo...

Look at this precious baby! I could eat him up!! These are his first pictures of our Rice Cereal Adventures! He really loves it. He got ahold of the spoon and flipped rice cereal all over his face!

Notice Aiden's right hand! This is the fateful moment where Aiden grabbed the bowl! Then it just went everywhere! Thank goodness this boy enjoys baths!

Bath Time Fun...

Aiden has a new trick! He loves to get the washcloth in the bath tub and suck all of the water out of it! When it gets dry, he gets fussy until I put more water on it! It is so cute! While i wash him he chases the washcloth all over his body until he finally gets to put it in his mouth! In this picture, I think he looks like Uncle Jethro puttin his feet on the edge of the tub!

He has to get that washcloth in his mouth!

Daddy's Boy...

Here are two super cute pictures of Aiden laying on his daddy's lap! We love getting to spend our weekends enjoying our son! After a long week of daycare and work, it's nice to be able to kick back and relax and enjoy our new little family!! And, we closed on our house this week so Dillon and I are now proud home owners! Mark your calendars, it will be paid off in 2039! We'll throw a party!

Winter strikes again! Hopefully this is the last wave of the season so we can be on to warmer, "springier" times! Ugg... that means I need to hit the gym!! Seriously, it was big ol' fat snowflakes!!!
