The i word...

Oh no! Here it comes! I have said the dreaded i word! INSIDE!! Aiden would live in a tree in the yard if I would let him! He would play outside from sun up to sun down, every day. He loves it so much, that mentioning going back in brings us to this face below.

You would think I killed a puppy or something!

Enjoying the warm sun for just a few more minutes, trying to run from me.

Tantrum has begun. Poor guy!

Penny doesn't understand! She wants to come in so she can share some of Aiden's vanilla wafers! A wonderful snack for dogs!

Aiden and his pup finally head inside! He is a gentleman already, trying to open the door for Penny!

Penny the Snow Puppy...

So, yet again we have gone from 70 degrees and beautiful, to snowstorm! Shocker! Aiden hated every second of it because he wanted to go outside and play as usual. If our yard didn't have standing water and melting snow, that might have been a possibility. But we found plenty of fun games to play inside and stayed nice and cozy. Penny had to go outside, for obvious reasons, and she loved it! She ran laps around the yard and just sat outside enjoying the snow!

"Yes Lauren, I am still sitting here in the same spot! You can stop looking at me now!"

"Squirrel!!"

She is totally having more fun than it looks here! She has turned out to be such a great dog!

Park Bound...

It was such a beautiful day today, almost 70 degrees outside so headed to Hunter Park!

Aiden LOVED the swings! He giggled every time we pushed him!

He knows when I have the camera on him so he doesn't look directly into the lens! He does it on purpose I think. He sees the camera and looks slightly to the right!

OH, Correction! He was staring at these super cute twin girls! They were so cute! (Can you take pictures of OTHER peoples kids at the park?) :/
I did anyway... they were too adorable.

The fire truck had a lot of tunnels and doors and windows that he loved crawling around on.

I see you out there Mommy! So I am going to look this way! Love that boy! Maybe once Penny is trained a little more we can take her to the dog park!

More of the Great Outdoors..

Finally beautiful weather to play outside in! Aiden has his rain boots on because of how muddy our yard has been!

Something was obviously very surprising.

Miss Penny's dirty schnoz!

Aiden is one with nature.

Align CenterWe went to JBF this past weekend and got a great outdoor toy for him to play with. He likes to climb up the slide and slide down head first. I am afraid we have a little daredevil on our hands! Penny likes to act like it is her doghouse!

Cool dude cruisin in his car! Fred Flintstone back there needs to pick it up! :)

Tigers and tubes...

A few weeks ago Aiden had tubes put in his ears! Yay for no more ear infections! After a period of 2 months where he had either an infection or fluid behind his ears constantly, Dr. Raley gave us the go ahead for seeing the E.N.T. We had his hearing checked also just to make sure the ear issues wouldn't affect his speech. He passed that with flying colors, even with fluid on his ears! When we got to the place where they were doing the surgery all of the nurses had to come in and check out "that really cute baby at the end of the hall". I took my camera in with us for his procedure. I asked Dillon if he thought that was weird... So here are the photos from that day!

Aiden had to put on the hospital gown. Strangely enough they were really cute! They had tired little tigers on them.

We brought a book for Aiden to look at to help pass the time! It was my brother's book when he was little and now is Aiden's favorite!

I made dad hold him up for the camera so we could get the full effect of his cuteness.

The set up. A little Mickey Mouse on in the background! Not too shabby.

You can't tell by looking, but Aiden's fingers are trying to get in the crack of the door! He is straining to find anyway to get that door open!
