Our new little girl...

After much thought and about a year of waiting, we have finally decided it is time to get a puppy! She is the one on the far left that is the color of butterscotch. She is not pure bred but she is part lab and part medium sized dog. Hopefully she will be like a mini lab! Can't wait to get her next week and think of a name that fits her little personality! We love her already!

Nature Walks...

Mister Aiden has a new favorite thing. It involves being outside and walking around aimlessly, falling in the grass, picking up leaves, fun things like that! Dillon and I call them Nature Walks. Aiden cannot wait for us to go outside and just let him wander all around! It is a really good thing he likes to be outside, so I can get a little more, might I add much needed, exercise, and since we are about to add a new member to our family, walks will be much easier!

The prized possesion leaf that he wouldn't put down for an hour!

He likes falling as much as walking in the grass!

It was really warm out this night. That's why I wasn't super worried about no socks at this point.

Grandma and Grandpa...

Look how cute they are! We just love getting to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa! This is my dad's mom and dad! We had a great time at Aunt Janie's house sharing Christmas cheer with the family.

Christmas Morning...

What a beautiful, white Christmas we had! Christmas morning was more exciting this year because the kids kinda knew what was going on!

Here Aiden is modeling the hat he got for Christmas! It's the only one he lets us keep on his head!

Beep beep! I don't know who's eyes are bigger!

Don't mind me in the background! Just look at the cute thing I found in Santa's stuff.

Campbell and Aiden relaxing in their chairs! Like two old folks on the porch.

Who you callin old mom?

Christmas Eve we sampled some of Pappy's persimmon wine! It was really good. Might be the start of something big!

Brother Brett with the pooches on the couch.

Aiden and Campbell playing on the floor. "Is that your toy or mine?"

Engles Christmas...

Aiden looks so small behind that huge box! Christmas Eve we went to Dillon's house for Christmas.

Dad started the paper but Aiden wasn't quite sure what to do after that.

All of the kiddos at Mary's Christmas party. Since Mary wasn't there, it was only fitting that her picture was held in her place by her stand in for the day Crystal-Mary.

Ho, ho, ho! Santa came to see all the kids. Santa is a certain special someone in Aiden's life.

I think Aiden could tell right away by Santa's cheerful voice that he and Santa would get along great!
